Welcome to Frosting and a Smile. It's a blog about two things I love, sweet treats and sharing those treats with other people.
For years people have been telling me I should open a bakery. In fact, if I had a dollar for every time someone told me I should start a business, I would probably have enough money to do just that. But people aren't exactly throwing dollars my way right now, so I found this way to share the fun from my kitchen.
Visions of frosting, cake, and sprinkles are begging to get out of my mind and into a mixing bowl. I can't wait to share them with you.
I'll be sharing my own recipes and testing recipes from cookbooks and other sites. I plan to include basic baking skills and more advanced techniques. While I have a lot of baking experience, I'm no Martha. So we can all learn together.
